Eligibility

Core Documents Verification is open to:

• Museums of any size and type

• U.S. and non-U.S. museums

• Nonprofits and for profits

• Museums that are independent (private) or part of a parent organization (e.g., university, city government, foundation, etc.)

• Collections-based institutions and non-collecting institutions.

Alliance membership is not required.

To participate, a museum must:

• Have signed the Pledge of Excellence

• Have an educational mission

• Be open to the public

• Use and interpret objects and/or a site for publicly accessible regularly scheduled programs and exhibits
